Please note that mention of newsletter in the privacy policy remains in case Rikks Revues decides to re-launch the what's goin' on newsletter.... For now the only information collected is to award prizes to winners of contests and prizes.

Rikks Revues is committed to providing both clients and end-users with the utmost in privacy and security. RR abides by all industry guidelines and consistently monitor my management and operating methods in order to maintain my reputation and integrity. This is my promise to all of you, visitors, music fans and clients!

Type of Information Collected

Rikks Revues is a music site, I deal with musicians bands and labels as well as advertisers in offering only the very vest in music reviews and services. Offers made by my advertisers are not a part of Rikks Revues, although I do think every advertiser has something worthwhile to offer my readers I do not personally make any type of claim to what you shall get as an end user. Any Information collected from the consumer through an online form, as with the newsletter or for any contests. Applicants submit their name and e-mail address only, the mailing address will be asked for ONLY ion case the visitor to Rikks Revues wins a prize / contest. Users, when asking for certain services through Rikks Revues, may, but are not necessarily, signed up for the newsletter, if you don't want it there is an easy link in the newsletter that you will be taken off the list IMMEDIATELY after clicking, we don't wait 48 or 72 hours as you and your choice are important to Rikks Revues. 

Use of Collected Information

Information that is collected by the advertisers of Rikks Revues is between you and the advertiser, I never get that information nor do I store any of your information on my systems. I do not collect information for the advertisers, what information you give me is for the use of our transactions or partnerships. Each advertiser individually controls what is done with the information they collect.  We host ads but don't collect personal information from consumers on behalf of our advertising partners.  We only get information of users through the newsletter & Contests, that information is NOT given to or sold to any third party, ever!!.

Member Contact

If you sign up for my Newsletter, I will only contact you via postal mail if you have won a prize or if there is something you have requested from me or any of my services. This is opt-in only, meaning that the applicant has complete control in allowing Rikks Revues to contact them. Applicant must opt-in to receive secondary communication from Rikks Revues but the policies of my clients may differ. There is also an easy opt-out option included in every newsletter mailing.

Security

In order to ensure security and protection of collected information, all employees or volunteers are aware of my security policy and practices. Web security is constantly reviewed. Access to the information here is available only to Rikk and no one else gets the information in any case. Rikks Revues, Rikk Matheson will NEVER sell your information to third parties so they may harass and contact you as if they were contacting for me!

Delete/Deactivate

"Deactivating" refers to the process by which Personally Identifiable Information, upon request, is removed. Because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a consumer's entry without some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will be functionally deleted. We will not sell, transfer, or use the information relating to a deleted individual in any way. To deactivate your account, your account is only an email newsletter, so simply follow the directions on the newsletter and I will not contact you for any reason ion the future unless there is such a time that you re-subscribe to any of my services.

Correct and Update Information

If you would like any of the information I have acquired changed, YOU must email me using my contact form. You will only receive an email confirmation unless you request confirmation by written mail, this will ONLY happen in such cases that you have business dealings with Rikk Matheson or Rikks Revues.

Notification Of Changes

In the event that there is a change in the privacy practices of Rikks Revues or my newsletter or other services in the future, all members or business partners will be contacted via the e-mail address on record. It is up to each party dealing with Rikks Revues to make sure their email address is correct and up to date.

The Rikks Revues Phone Number and Mailing address will be given to parties only when need be, information is freely given to contest winners, and will be done on a case to case basis, if you feel you need my mailing address and / or telephone, email me with your request.

Please note that if you win any contest at Rikks Revues, your name and State / Province will be posted for readers to see. Your name and area will be used as first name, last initial and general area... for example:

Full names and addresses will NOT BE USED! The only time a contest winners information will be shared with a third party, is when it is the third party that will issue the prize to the contest winners, and that will be plainly visible on the contest page or the email to the winner, the winner can then decide whether they would still like to receive the contest item / prize. This is important so that all readers know there was a winner. Please note that street addresses or certain towns or Cities will NOT be posted, just the state / province and your name.
