Tom Wurth Debut CD features hit single Bread on the Table

Tom Wurth is one more of the new artists rising on the Country Music scene that blends the traditional sound with the contemporary. Artists like Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean and Eric Church would be perfect fits for a Country Music playlist. That's not that Tom Wurth copies any one style, he simply employs elements of classic country music and the new breed to form his own WURTHY style of foot tapping Country Music.

The lead-off single, "Bread On The Table" brings together a bit of roots music, blues harmonica, and kick-ass barn raising Country that will satisfy even the most hardcore country fan. The Marcus, Iowa [population 1,500 - SAL-UTE] native also deals up some more winners on tracks like the mid-tempo "Make Time For Lovin' You", the ballad "I Can Bend", and the bar crowd pleasin' "Love Made Me Do It". The one true gem of this CD as far as listening enjoyment alone is Tom Wurth's delivery of Hank Sr.'s "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", absolutely chilling!

With the smooth baritone delivery and the undeniably hit-formula song selection, Tom Wurth may just be one of those artsists that you better embrace now. Tom Wurth's future is completely up to him, not much polishing needed, but the word on this amazing new Country Music talent simply has to be spread, this is my part, now do yours. Probably one of the best independent CDs I have been sent in 2006, and I am already looking forward to the next one.
